I believe in transparency and fairness I believe in transparency and fairness, which is why I offer competitive andd transparent pricing for all my services. Below, you’ll find a breakdown of my prices for various repair and support services. No sneak attacks. No hidden mumbo jumbo. I try to provide as accurate a picture of what to expect up front.

I have different services for different needs and I’ve tried to think of a way that’s fair to everyone involved. If anything changes, it’ll be reflected here first but I’ve thought long and hard about how I wanted to operate and this was the result!

Are you a business? Good news! I don’t care! The pro is you get to get the same price as everyone else, the con is you don’t get preferential treatment because you’re a business. You’re going to get the same, great, transparent pricing that everyone else enjoys. I’m not going to penalize you because you’re productive. So if you don’t mind playing by my rules, you get to get in line with the rest and I’ll give you the same quality and care I give all of my clients. No extra fees!

Free: Advice. Witty Charm. Constructive criticism on bad habbits (it won’t sting, I promise). Tech Questions. Questions about services. Referalls to other companies that might better suite your needs. Access to my self help library. Peace of mind.

Standard Hourly Rate for Services: This is for most things that I have to check in to solve. If it’s some over the counter fix, I have a separate rate for that below but if I have to check the device in for service or repair, I have a $60, non refundable bench fee to look at your device. This will apply towards the diagnostic/Repair.

 

If I can diagnose and repair it, then the typical flat rate most people are going to experience bringing their device to me is going to be this much or less for most non serious items.

Data Recovery: This is pretty straight forward. It’s an involved process with some expensive software to try to get at your missing files. I offer a flat rate service and I’ll push your data to whatever you have available to store it on at no extra charge. I bill $40 for the attempt. I bill an additional $60 if successful.

Over the counter fix: This is for things that I might know how to sort out that you might not. Browser settings, adjusting display settings, adding shortcuts where you can get to them comveniently, adjusting mouse or keyboard settings, adding or removing accessibility settings.

It’s difficult to determine what falls into this category because you guys come up with all sorts of interesting things that I sort out daily. Tutoring is a common one “I don’t know how to XYZ” smaller things that don’t require surgery go here.

Average issue time being half an hour or less, will cost you less than my hourly rate, but if I have to sit there for an hour to give you exclusive access to my brain, I do bill for tutor/training at the over the counter rate below.

Remote Support: I basically do the same thing remotely that I do here. 1 on 1, personalized support. Mano e mano. This is for so many things. Some printer issues can be sorted like this. PC Settings, etc.

This is just a way to save your fuel. Some people prefer it. I don’t personally care if you want to sit with me or do this, it’s practically the same service so it’s the same price as in-shop.

No huss, no fuss. I bill this by the half hour but it does mean you don’t have to get all dolled up and go out into the racer derby of local traffic if you don’t want to. Pants optional.

Lake Wales/Babson Park Special: Normally I bill $120 for an on-site. This covers me getting to you, me doing an hour of labor, and me getting home. If I have to take the machine to my shop because something is wrong, this also covers an hour of labor. You’ll have to pony up for the return trip if you don’t want to come and get it.

Now here’s the special: For Lake Wales and Babson Park *ONLY* I’ll do on site for the same price but if I have to come back for round trip, I’ll do that for you at no extra charge. Saves you $60 for your in-home service.

Premium On-Site In-Home Service: Honestly my bread and butter. I do more of this than I do anything else.

Think traffic sucks? Me too! I’ll come to you! I do bill a $60, non-refundable reservation fee, plus an initial hour of labor. After I’m on-site, I bill my regular hourly rate by the half hour (after my initial hour). So if I’m there an hour and a half, it’ll run you $180, etc.

No hidden things, no nonsense! I have a flat rate within 15 miles of my shop. Outside of that I bill and extra $2 per mile. If I have to bring it back for surgery, I bill an extra $60 for the return trip (plus the $2/mile outside of 15 miles) So you can get your issues sorted without being double billed.

For a practical example, if you live 50 miles from here, and I deduct my 15 mile radius, that leaves 35 extra miles of travel at $2 a mile. I have to make money while traveling, while I’m there and cover lack of productivity on the way back. This helps maintain my vehicle so I can keep doing this for you guys. The total, assuming I didn’t have to go round trip or extra parts, would run $190 for the hour.

I pretty much only service areas within an hour of drive time from here. Outside of that I’m sure there’s somebody closer and likely more affordable in your area!

Special Offer: If you want a discount and you’re in a subdivision and have friends that need help. I can give you guys a better rate if you all schedule me on the same day, since I’m already in the neighborhood, I can give you a bit of a break on the bill.

It will apply to my initial trip only and not extra services or round trips I have to make but for most people, this will definitely help the wallet!

 

Rush Services: Dead in the water? Probably should have had a plan for that about a year ago but here we are. *sigh*

Don’t want to wait for me to get to you because of the line? I don’t really enjoy it but for you, I’ll make an exception. I’ll also bill you more for making everyone else that’s already paid me wait longer but it is what it is.

I’ll put your device next in line so you can get told what I was already going to tell you quicker. Afterward, how about we schedule a sit down and come up with  a real plan so this doesn’t happen to you again (because it will if you don’t have some sort of disaster recovery plan in action).

3 Hour Monthly Remote Support Subscription: This is for the problem children (you know who you are!) I offer two version of this service. This being the smaller of the two. Get prefered help quicker with this option. Stack up questions/issues and you’ll make out better with this deal.

3 Hour Monthly Remote First Subscription: This one is the full monte. Remote first, on-site second. Billed by the half hour for remote. Hourly For on-site.

This is for specialized situations that require a more hands on approach. Small office, home office type situations where something is always going on. or If you just want personalized training on your PC/Network environment. I got you fam.

You already know if you need this or not. As soon as I get stationary, you get immediate service, if I’m already mobile in the area, I can swing by, else you get me the second I hit the shop door!

Web Design: This is where it’s less straight forward. I can give you ballpark estimates but everybody wants something different and the time and energy involved in delivering it varies tremendoustly.

This is like asking how much is a house or a car? Well, that depends. Do you want the eco car or the race car? The 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment or the McMansion? Everything I provide for websites is a service and each is billed out separately. I’ll try to give you a breakdown below.

Unfortunate fact: the setup the domain/hosting/come up with the design (if you don’t already have some brand), setup the site on the back-end, choose colors and fonts, write the page copy (if you don’t provide it) etc. Simple seo best practice implemented.

This takes way longer to setup the first page than it typically does to setup the second. With page 2, you’re not reinventing the wheel anymore, you’re refining it or building off it. I bill accordingly. I offer different packages and services based on business needs for each company.

Standard Design: This is the average starting place for a small business either starting up or revamping an older/tired website. You get more attention to detail, gives you 10 pages that will be give or take the same look with different content.

Standard Design for the look, works well for most customers that are trying to up their digital look. Keep in mind, this is a starting point for the basics, not an all encompassing list of what you might want to do.

Premium Design: Oh I dare say Reginald, this is the finest establishment I’ve ever graced with my presence! Ok, so you’re serious about looking the part and you want to bring receipts.

This is where you get it. I didn’t even take the time to do all this to my site, though my analytics are on point. This is when you already have a brand and you want to make that website sparkle. I hear you.

E-Commerce: You want a store and those pre-built guys just aren’t giving you what you want. I’ve done this before and I can do it again. It’s not cheap but you get exactly what you need for a sizeable e-commerce store.

This cost might vary outside of the listed amount based on how many items you have but you can expect most people to fall into the middle here depending on your needs.

SEO Assistance: So now you want to compete in your local market. Good, good. This is the real winner and answer to many marketing issues: Exposure. How to separate yourself from the crowd and out-compete them. I can help!

Unpleasant truth: SEO isn’t an overnight adventure. It’s make sure you’re setup with the most SEO best practices and wait a month to see how you’re doing. Then make documented changes, and see how those changes affect the performance for your target keywords. And keyword research is a whole other can of worms entirely.

Everything is deliberate and slow. If you think you can pay some company tons of money and get instant results, please go do so, I have no interest in hearing how dissatisfied you are when your site hasn’t moved in a few days because you don’t know how any of this works. I can give you plenty of links to plenty of free videos from industry leaders and you can hear the same thing from the horses mouth.

Or we can team up: For the less anxious and more serious people in the room. We can do this the right way. Track your site and your competitors sites against a targeted list of keywords and see what’s working, what isn’t and identify why. It’s not a silver bullet but it can work wonders for your business over the next quarter or half year when you do it right.

Nobody can gurantee you results: You can do everything right on page but if your not scratching the itch of your customer at the right time with the right product at the right price, you’re still not going to win. Imagine selling ice cream to eskimos.

Probably the hot chocolate market will be a better option but if you go full steam ahead, you can make sales but it might not be enough to keep your business afloat. There’s a ton of considerations for good marketing and simple web design and seo can help make you look good but they can’t solve some other more in-depth marketing issues.

If you’re struggling I can take a look at what you’re doing and see if I can offer some solid advice. I’m a technician not a miracle worker but I have made plenty of sites for plenty of people and helped small businesses capture more paying customers with simple thought out ideas tailored to their niche.

I’m not a marketing firm by any stretch of the imagination but if you need a leg up we can probably figure something out. I don’t bill what marketing firms bill either, so there is that.
